As the founder of The Open Key, Randi McDonald is redefining what it means to serve in real estate. A licensed Minnesota real estate broker with over a decade of experience in residential transactions, leasing, operations, and regulatory compliance, she has built her career on guiding individuals and families through complex property transactions with clarity, honesty, and confidence.
Throughout her time in the industry, Randi has been recognized for both performance and leadership. Licensed since 2014, Randi transitioned into a full-time real estate agent in 2017 and was named Rookie of the Year at Edina Realty. She went on to earn Leadership Circle and President’s Circle honors for her production and client services. In 2023, she was recognized as a Top 500 Twin Cities Real Producer, an esteemed honor given to the Top 4% of real estate agents in Minnesota based on sales production. Nevertheless, Randi knows her success in real estate was not built alone.

The Open Key's mentorship programs are specifically designed for new real estate agents (0 - 3 years or $0 - $3M in production) who are eager to advance their real estate careers. This is not your typical 'rah-rah' mega real estate coaching. Our educational style is energetic, purpose-driven, and fosters a sense of community among like-minded individuals.
